AUSTRALIAN CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS - WA STATE TEAM

Athletics West will select athletes to represent Western Australia as part of the State Team at the 2024 Australian Cross Country Championships.

All Athletics West members, including those registered with the Little Athletics or the Senior program are eligible for selection if they meet the below criteria.

Nominations: All athletes wishing to be considered for selection for the WA State team MUST indicate this when registering to compete through the WA State Cross Country Championships entry portal (see below). Participants will be asked whether they wish to be considered for State Team selection for the 2024 Australian Cross Country Championships, and only athletes who check this box to indicate ‘yes’ will be considered.

All members are eligible to enter the Qualification Event in the appropriate age group. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no entry criteria to compete at the State Qualification event.

To qualify for selection to the Australian Cross Country Championships athletes must compete at the Qualification Event (27 July), unless an exemption has been approved.
