AUSTRALIAN TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS - WA STATE TEAM
Athletics West will select Under 13- Open athletes to represent Western Australia as part of the State Team at the 2024 Australian Athletics Championships.
Any athlete who would like to compete as part of the WA State Team at the Australian Athletics Championships (Nationals) must be a registered member with Athletics West.

All athletes who meet the eligibility criteria above are invited to enter the WA State Team. It is the athlete’s responsibility to submit their entry if they have met the entry rules. Athletics West will validate entries, and submit all entries and payments to Athletics Australia based on the nominated entry list after the nominated period.

TEAM INFORMATION
TEAM SIZE | Unlimited
TEAM TRAVEL | Individual travel only
UNIFORM | Underage athletes (Under 13- Under 20) are required to wear WA State Team uniform, available to purchase through Athletics West online shop. The uniform isn't provided to athletes and the essential items are competition top and plain black bottoms. Orders will be dispatched directly to households. Open age athletes may wear Club, State, National or Sponsored uniform in line with Athletics Australia uniform guidelines.
EDUCATION | All athletes are encouraged to complete the Sports Integrity Australia online modules. Further details about this and where to submit them can be found in your registration confirmation email, and also here.
RELAYS | Athletics West will be entering teams for all relay events. Athletes wishing to be considered for selection in competing in the State Relay Teams at the Championships are invited to nominate through the registration portal once open. Athletics West will select relay squads of up to 6 nominated athletes once registration portal has closed. Appointed Team Coaches will finalise the team based on relay training, season best performances and availability at the championships. There will be a compulsory relay training and competition on 23 March and 5 April 2024 (unless exemption granted prior to the competition).

- 23 March & 5 April 2024- WA State Team Relay Competition
