Making a complaint

Engaging in any complaint process is challenging at the best of times for the strongest of people. Sometimes a form makes it even more difficult. A conversation with a human might be an easier way to get started.

The main thing to know is that there is a place to raise questions and receive guidance, and a complaints process will be followed.

Complaints or reports relating to abuse, harassment, bullying, gambling, competition fixing or Code of Conduct breaches, can be reported confidentially to Athletics West in writing or by registering for a callback via the form below.

ACCESS THE ATHLETICS WEST COMPLAINT FORM

The Athletics West Complaints Form should be completed when you need to formally raise a concern that cannot be resolved at the club or centre level. If an incident occurs at an Athletics West event or program, you can submit the form immediately. If the incident happens at a club or centre, the form should only be used once all reasonable options to resolve the matter through the club’s governance processes have been exhausted. This ensures that issues are addressed at the most appropriate level first.

When Athletics West receives a complaint, it is handled in line with the National Integrity Framework, which Athletics West has adopted to ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency in managing integrity-related matters. Our process includes assessing the complaint, determining jurisdiction, and taking appropriate action under the framework. You can access the Complaints Form here and learn more about the National Integrity Framework on the Australian Athletics website here.

All complaints should be address to Athletics West's General Manager, Bussiness Servies  Chris Crosby via email chris@athleticswest.com.au
