Athletics West is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024-25 Strive Program powered by Go For 2&5! Open to all senior Athletics West members, the Strive Program is set to launch on the 18 October 2024 with an action packed schedule of 18 rounds at the WA Athletics Stadium.

PERTH TRACK CLASSIC SET TO IGNITE THE WEST IN MARCH 2025
A red-hot line up of international track and field stars and homegrown talent will arrive in the West early next year for the highly anticipated return of the Perth Track Classic.
FROM PERU TO THE PILBARA
After top 10 performances in Peru at the World Athletics Under 20 Championships, Australian decathlete Jack Whiteside and Alexandra Griffin are bound for the Australian Outback to help inspire the next generation.

Registrations are now open for the 2024 WA All Schools Championships powered by Go For 2&5. The Championships are the premier event for school athletics in the state, with young athletes given the opportunity to compete against their peers from all schools in WA.
2024 PARIS PARALYMPICS | RECAP
The 2024 Paris Paralympic games will go down in history, after 11 days of inspirational performances flooded the screens of our nation. Australia’s 32-strong para-athletics team will return home from the City of Lights boasting an impressive 11 medals; three gold, two silver and six bronze.
KUMON BACKS GRASS ROOT ATHLETICS WITH NEWLY ESTABLISHED COMMUNITY FUND
Kumon Australia is set to reinforce the Little Athletics WA program with the newly established Kumon Community Fund. Building on the established partnership between Kumon and Athletics West, the fund will help support Little Athletics WA Centres and One Clubs purchase equipment for the upcoming season.
WA'S BEST IMPRESS ON THE WORLD STAGE | WORLD ATHLETICS UNDER 20 RECAP
The future looks bright for Australian Athletics following the nation’s Under 20 Team delivered the best-ever World Under 20 Championship campaign in Lima. The 67-strong contingent produced a record high of 14 medals to finish in second place behind the United States of America, with WA’s Amelia Rowe among the medal winners.

Australia returns to the City of Lights following a record-breaking Olympic Campaign with a 32-strong para-athletics team, including six powerhouse West Australian athletes, primed for Paralympic success.
