Join us for an exciting FREE community event to kick off the 2022 North West Athletics Championships on Friday 9th September from 4:30 pm at Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre. Thanks to Buru Energy, Athletics West will be hosting a free upskilling session for parent or club/centre volunteers and a free sausage sizzle for all attendees.

Join our Athletics Australia accredited officials for an upskilling session in throws and/or jumps. Learn the roles and rules, how to set up and event site and tips and tools for judging events.

4.30pm: Throws (Shot Put/Discus/Javelin)
5.30pm: Jumps (Long Jump/Triple Jump)
From 6.00pm: Sausage sizzle & social opportunity
