LITTLE ATHLETES BORN IN 2013/2014/2015
Australian Athletics are offering races for athletes born in 2013, 2014 and 2015 at the Australian Cross Country Championships that differ from the Little Athletics specified distances. As a result, Athletics West will offer two different distances at the WA State Cross Country Championships for these age groups. All Athletics West members (both senior or Little Athletics programs) are eligible to participate in the State Team Selection events (below), where age appropriate (refer to year of birth requirements). Athletes can not participate in more than one (1) event.
For the avoidance of doubt, this means Little Athletics members born in 2013, 2014 and 2015 will need to choose between the State Team Selection event, or the Little Athletics Championship Event. The top three (3) placegetters in all events will be awarded medals. Please note athletes must nominate (see State Team section below) to be considered for State Team selection if wishing to be considered for the Australian Cross Country Championships.

These events are selection trials for the Australian Cross Country Championships WA State Team. The top 10 male and female nominated placegetters per age group will be selected for the State Team.
