Race Walks Educational Seminar with Blake Steele
Athletics West is excited to host a Race Walks Education Seminar led by Blake Steele, one of Australia’s most respected Race Walk officials and educators. With extensive experience at national and international levels, Blake has dedicated his career to developing and mentoring athletes, coaches, and officials in the discipline of Race Walking.
This seminar is designed to provide basic education in Race Walk judging, perfect for those interested in expanding their knowledge or becoming more involved in the sport. The program will include:

*Thursday 30 October 2025: Theoretical session with Q&A, offering insights into the key principles and rules of Race Walk judging.

*Friday 31 October 2025: Practical, hands-on learning as part of the WA All Schools Championships, applying theory directly in a live competition setting.
