The 2026 WA Women's Track Night presented by Rec Lab at WA Athletics Stadium on Saturday, 24th October 2026

The WA Women's Track Night presented by Rec Lab is a brand new women-only track event designed to celebrate female running, community and confidence.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, returning to racing, or stepping onto the track for the very first time, this event is for you. More than just a race, it's a celebration of women’s, bringing together runners of all abilities for an unforgettable night of racing, connection and fun.

The event features four 5,000m races to suit all abilities, plus a 1,000m junior girls' race.

With a DJ, food trucks, entertainment and an electric trackside atmosphere, it's the perfect excuse to bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and be part of an unforgettable community celebration.

Come and experience a night where women support women, celebrate every finish, and discover just how fun racing on the track can be.

REGISTRATIONS 

The 2026 WA Women's Track Night presented by Rec Lab is open to women only age 12+

Entries open at 9:00am Thursday 13 August 2026.

Entries close at 11:59pm Monday 5th October 2026 

Places are strictly limited to ensure the best racing experience.

EVENT ELEGIBILITY

RACE AGE
5,000m

15 years old + 

1,000m Junior Girls 

12 years old + 

Athletes cannot participate in more than one (1) event 

COMPETITION INFORMATION

Warm up/ cool down 

Athletes are allowed to warm up around the outside of the track (red pathway) or elsewhere around the venue. Athletes are not able to warm up or cool down on the blue track. 

Marshalling

Athletes are to be at the marshalling tent at the Start Line 15 minutes befofre the race time 

Competition Bibs 

All athletes will receive one (1) competition bib, specific for this event. Bib collection will be on the day of teh event. Competition bibs must be affixed to the front of their uniform with no less than four pins each. The entire bib, including sponsorship information must always be visible and no part of the bib shall be folded under the uniform. Athletes are to collect event specific bib at latest 30 minutes prior to event start time.

This event utilises the Roster Athletics app for start lists, timetables and live results.
