Community Coaching Session: Building Better Athletes & Coaches
Developing the whole athlete through smarter coaching, culture and communication.
A foundational seminar focused on the people side of coaching and long-term athlete development. This session supports coaches working across all event groups to create strong training environments that improve retention, engagement, and athlete growth.
Presenter: James Fitzpatrick
James is the current Pole Vault Head coach at the Western Australian Insitute of Sport and an accredited Australian Athletics Level 4 High Performance Coach. James has extensive experience in coaching development and high performance pole vaulters including being the coach of Olympic Gold Medalist Nina Kennedy. James has a passion in advocay of holistic and long term athlete development along with coach development leading resulting in the mentorship of emerging coaches.
