2022 ATHLETICS WEST AWARDS

Athletics West is delighted to announce the winners of the 2022 Athletics West Awards. Held at the Beaumonde On The Point as part of our 2022 Volunteer Week celebrations, more than 100 members of the Athletics West community attended the event.

As part of the 2022 Volunteer Week celebrations, Athletics West CEO Vince Del Prete said he was delighted “to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding contribution volunteers make to delivering athletics in WA.”

“Volunteers are the backbone of community sport and having the opportunity to recognise that contribution is critical.” Del Prete said.

13 individuals were recognised with Athletics West awards for Coaching, Officiating and Athlete performances. This year also saw Athletics West include the esteemed Doug Hancy Award.
