THE 2023 WINTER SEASON IS HERE

Athletics West is excited to announce that the 2023 Winter Season calendar and event information is now available.

The 2023 Athletics West Winter Season offers five state events throughout June to October and encompasses five rounds of Cross Country and five rounds of Road Walking scheduled to take place on WA’s finest scenic routes.

We are excited to trial a new venue this year, thanks to the support of Chris Stansbury and Steve Preece, to bring the WA State Short Course Championships and Cross Country Relay events to Burswood Park.

The Winter Season kicks off on the first round of Cross Country at Manning Park 27 May hosted by Cockburn Little Athletics Club, followed by the first round of Road Walking at Perry Lakes Reserve on 3 June at Perry Lakes Reserve hosted by the WA Athletics Officials Club and the WA Race Walking Club.
