2024 COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS NOW OPEN

Registrations are now open for the 2024 Country Championships powered by Coles set for Geraldton.
The 2024 Country Championships powered by Coles will be held from the 12 to 14 of January 2024 at Geraldton's La Fiamma Sporting Club. The Country Championships offers opportunities from 5 to 100 years of age with several Open Age Championship events, including the 100m, 400m, 800, Long Jump and Shot Put.
Athletics West proudly deliver the 2024 Country Championships powered by Coles in partnership with Geraldton Athletics Centre, Coles, City of Greater Geraldton, Healthway and their Go For 2&5 message, the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Kumon, Keep On Running, and the Bibbulmun Fund powered by Fremantle Foundation.

To help athletes and their families prepare, we strongly suggest using the 'Visit Geraldton' website to explore their extensive list of accommodations and activities available in the region.
Merchandise
The 2024 Country Championships shirts are now available for purchase, with the first round stock to be distributed at the Championships in Geraldton.
Athletics West will do a second run of shirts that will be delivered to people's homes later in December, noting these will be scheduled to arrive in March 2024.
Funding
Attending athletes are encouraged to explore funding opportunities with their Local government, as well as travel subsidies through the WA Government. To find out more, head to the link below.
