Athletics West is excited to announce that 2022 Athletics West Award Nominations are now open. After a sensational 2021-2022 Summer Season powered by Go For 2&5, our community can acknowledge and celebrate outstanding individuals who help deliver our sport.
In an effort to recognise and honour athletes, volunteers, officials and coaches, Athletics West have opened nominations for Centres to help recognise these individuals. Centres can nominate and find out more about the awards via the links below:
Athletics West has also opened nominations for the Official of the Year Award and is accepting nominations from the community for the award:
The 2022 Athletics West Awards will also recognise the following awards at the ceremony, with winners to be confirmed by Athletics West:
- Volunteer Recognition Award - 10 Years of Service
- Volunteer Recognition- 20 Years of Service
- Athlete Service Award- 11 years
- Little Athletics Athlete of the Year (U15 M & F)
- Doug Hancy Award
- Junior Athlete of the Year ( U20’s M&F)
- Able Bodied Athlete of the Year (M&F)
- Para Athlete of the Year (M&F)
- Able Coach of the Year
- Para Coach of the Year
- Emerging Coach of the Year
- Emerging Official of the Year
The 2022 Athletics West Awards on the 22nd of May at Beaumont on Point at 9:30, with tickets available for purchase shortly.
