COVID 19 UPDATE | 11 MARCH 2022

Following the successful delivery of the 2022 WA Little Athletics State Championships over the weekend, Athletics West has been notified that some individuals have since tested positive for COVID-19.

In line with the current Government Public Health measures, all athletes, volunteers and officials who were present at the related events have been contacted and been advised to immediately monitor for symptoms.

As per the latest Government announcement, Athletics West continues to adhere to the Level 2 Government Public Health Measures, with the safety and wellbeing of our community continuing to be our utmost priority. This includes the continued restriction on attendees at upcoming Athletics West events, noting that other than the Child’s Parent or Guardian (max 2 adults), no spectators will be allowed at the event as outlined by the Government’s Level 2 Public Health Measures.
