EXCITEMENT FOR THE 2023 GALLIPOLI RUN

Athletics West is excited to announce the Gallipoli Run supported by Legacy Western Australia is back on 30 April 2023 at a magnificent location in Kings Park.
The family focused event is open to all ages with participants able to choose from the 4km run or walk, 8km run and the 1km or 2km run for our youngest athletes.
The 8km run features a run through the scenic Kings Park highlighting floral and fauna of WA along the Lovekin Drive, past the memorials for those who made sacrifices in war. The Gallipoli Run’s 8km also recognises the distance our ANZAC heroes were expected to march to achieve victory after landing at Gallipoli.
Legacy WA currently supports more than 2,500 people, all of whom are part of a family that has been touched by a loved one’s service to our country. Legacy WA have dedicated volunteers who are committed to helping families through difficult times and provide the tools and support needed to build a brighter future.
Their services include relief from financial hardship, advice, and referrals to support services such as counselling, education assistance and development, social engagement opportunities to reduce isolation and advocating for entitlements and services.
Registration for the 2023 Gallipoli Run are now open and will close on 26 April 11:45PM.
