GALLIPOLI RUN IS BACK IN 2022

After 2 years of cancellations due to the ongoing Covid pandemic, Athletics West is pleased to announce the Gallipoli Run supported by Legacy Western Australia is back in 2022.
The 2022 Gallipoli Run will take place on Sunday 1st May in the beautiful location of Kings Park. Participants can choose from the 4km run or walk, or the 8km run through scenic Kings Park, along Lovekin Drive, past the memorials for those who died in War. The Gallipoli Run is a family-focused event, with all ages welcome to participate in the 4km walk/run and the addition of two new junior races and activities as part of the all-ages program.
The Gallipoli Run raises money for Legacy WA. Legacy WA has been delivering on their promise to help the families of those who served to build a sustainable future for nearing on 100 years.
Legacy WA currently supports more than 3,500 beneficiaries, all of whom are part of a family that has been touched by a loved one’s service to our country. A not-for-profit charity that relies heavily on the generous support of the general public and Volunteers to raise money and awareness for the work Legacy WA does.
Legacy WA services include relief from financial hardship, advice and referrals to support services such as counselling, education assistance and development, social engagement opportunities to reduce isolation and advocating for entitlements and services.
Registrations for the Gallipoli Run are now open and will close on Tuesday the 26th of April.
