LITTLE ATHLETICS TEAM CAMP A SUCCESS

In light of the cancellation of the Australian Little Athletics Championships due to the global pandemic, Athletics West, in partnership with Coles Little Athletics Australia, were pleased to offer the WA Little Athletics State Team the opportunity to participate in the inaugural WA Little Athletics Development Camp.

A total of 66 athletes took part in the camp, including 3 athletes from the Northern Australia team (WA/NT). The Camp was held from the 7-9 May at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp (Hillarys, WA) and provided athletes the opportunity to learn from elite athletes, compete in an exciting team-based athletics competition and participate in both athletics development and social activities throughout the weekend, including a tour of the WA Institute of Sport High Performance facility.
