TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT | 2023 AUSTRALIAN HALF MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIPS

Athletics West is excited to announce seven athletes will head over to Queensland for the upcoming Australian Half Marathon Championships due to be held early next month.

The Championship will be held as part of the Sunshine Coast Marathon with athletes set to travel to Alexandra Headland on Sunday the 13th of August, facing off against other states on for the chance to achieve an Australian Championship medal. 

Male and female athletes aged over 16 who are able to complete a half marathon in 1:25.00 and 1:30.00 respectively were eligible to enter the Championship, with Western Australia selecting three male and four female athletes to take on the competition. 

Athletics West would like to congratulate all of the athletes who were selected.
