TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT | AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR RACE WALKING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Athletics West is pleased to announce a team of nine young WA race walkers will depart for Ballarat this week, to contest the Australian Junior Race Walking Championships on August 24.  

Set on the picturesque paths of Victoria Park, the athletes will strut their stuff across a the 2km, 3km, 5km and 10km distances, all vying to become an Australian Junior Race Walking Champion.  

U20 WOMEN - 10km 

Kaytee Bogaers – WA Race Walkers Club  

U16 WOMEN – 5km 

Sierra Thompson – Belmont Athletics Cente 

U14 WOMEN – 3km 

Willow Wheeler – West Track Club 

Scarlett Nunn – Southern Districts Little Athletics Centre 

Makenzie Sillitto – Dale Athletics Centre 

Chloe Bevis – Dale Athletics Centre 

U12 GIRLS – 2km 

Savannah Nunn – Southern Districts Little Athletics Centre 

Ruby Kilworth – Kingsway Little Athletics Centre 

Rahni Fowler – Dale Athletics Centre
