Athletics West is saddened to hear of the passing of long standing Life Member Frits Vanirsen.
Frits was a stalwart of the athletics community in WA and was involved in the sport at every level. He was a dedicated life member of the Hamersley Athletics Centre and provided opportunities for many to enjoy athletics in our communities.
His legacy will live on.
On behalf of the Athletics West Board, management and the wider community, we would like to pass on our deepest condolences to Frits’s family and friends at this time.
A funeral service will be held on Friday the 9th of August at 9:30am at the Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, West Chapel.
