WA OFFICIALS READY TO DELIVER 2024 AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

WA's top athletes won't be the only ones crossing the Nullarbor for the 2024 Chemist Warehouse Australian Athletics Championships with 13 of the state's top Technical Officials appointed to the Championships.
The pinnacle event of the Australian domestic season, the 2024 Chemist Warehouse Australian Athletics Championships is an integral event for Australian athletes and officials looking to sharpen their skill sets before the world turns its attention to the upcoming Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The 13 WA Technical Officials will join a massive workforce of more than 100 Australian officials who are set to administer the Championships. Athletics West CEO Vince Del Prete said he was “excited to see the growing list of WA Technical Officials travelling to interstate Championships after a successful domestic season."
“On behalf of the Athletics West community, I congratulate all officials who have earned selection. After another great WA season, it is important to recognise the huge commitment it takes to secure selection at a National Championships and celebrate the growing depth of our officiating community," said Del Prete.
"Like the attending national athletes, every Australian Technical Official has worked tirelessly towards selection at these Championships. As volunteers, they have dedicated their time, money and resources to ensuring they are prepared for a massive nine days of athletics action."

The 2024 Chemist Warehouse Australian Athletics Championships will be held from Thursday 11 April to Friday 19 April at the South Australia Athletics Stadium in Adelaide. Spectators can purchase tickets for the four-day Championships HERE.
