WA OFFICIALS TO LEAD THE WAY AT AUSTRALIAN ALL SCHOOLS

After years of dedication and hard work, the future stars of Brisbane 2032 will descend on Perth as part of the 2023 Chemist Warehouse Australian All School Championships this December.
Having honed their craft and refined their skills at their respective State All Schools Championships, every representative will now look to ensure this year’s Australian Championships is one to remember.
While each athlete will undoubtedly have shared this journey, so too have Australia’s Technical Officials. Volunteering their time across the country, more than 115 selected Officials are now set to proudly represent their state in Perth.
Leading the way will be the home state with 38 WA Officials selected to help administer the Championships. Athletics West CEO Vince Del Prete said he was “thrilled to see so many of the state’s officials step up to ensure the Championships can be delivered.”
“As the backbone of our sport, I would like to congratulate every official who has gained selection. Like the athletes lining up to win gold, so too will our Officials look to utilise the Championships to further their skills and better their own education.”
“We are well and truly working our way towards Brisbane 2032 and these events are integral to training the next generation of officials who will help deliver the Australian-bound Games.”
The Athletics Australia selected Technical Officials will be joined by a volunteer workforce who will help deliver the three-day Championships. Volunteer positions are still available so don’t miss your chance to take part in the 2023 Chemist Warehouse Australian All Schools Championships.
Every volunteer will receive the opportunity to learn the behind-the-scenes intricacies of how to put on a national-level event, receive a free Athletics Australia Puma T-Shirt and Puma Hat, as well as free food at every shift. To sign up head to the link below.

The 2023 Chemist Warehouse Australian All Schools Championships, supported by Tourism WA and the WA Government, are set for the WA Athletics Stadium from 8 to 10 December. The three-day event will see Australia’s best school-aged athletes compete in team-based competition.
