2024 WA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS NOW OPEN

Registrations for the 2024 WA State Track & Field Championships powered by Go For 2&5 are now open. The 2024 WA State Track & Field Championships powered by Go For 2&5 will be held from the 22 to 25 February and will see the best WA athletes battle it out at the WA Athletics Stadium.

2024 WA ZONE CHAMPIONSHIPS NOW OPEN

Registrations for the 2024 WA Little Athletics Zones Championships are now open. The WA Little Athletics Zones Championships will be held across three locations on the 17 & 18 February 2024 with all Little Athletics Members aged from Under 7 to Under 15 able to register to participate. .

EVENT PREVIEW | NIGHT OF THE GO FOR 2&5

WA Athletics Stadium is set to be treated to a running extravaganza this Saturday at the Night of the Go For 2&5, with the State’s best middle-distance athletes competing to claim the 5000m State Title and a cash prize. Matthew Ramsden and Ky Hehir will headline the Men’s 5000m, whilst Charli-Rose Carlyon will no doubt be leading from the front in the Women’s 5000m’s.

A huge weekend of athletics action has launched the 2024 season with Geraldton hosting more than 350 WA athletes for the 2024 Country Championships powered by Coles.

The 2023/24 Summer Season will relaunch this Friday as Geraldton plays host to the 2024 WA Country Championships powered by Coles. Over 400 of WA’s best Country Track and Field athletes are set to travel to the seaside city in the hopes of claiming a coveted gold medal, with the event also representing an opportunity for young athletes to qualify for the upcoming 2024 State Junior Track and Field Championships.

A huge year of athletics competition is set to conclude this Saturday with the 2023 State Relay Championships powered by Go For 2&5. The event is undoubtedly the biggest of the year and will see over 1,700 athletes descend on the WA Athletics Stadium for one last chance at glory in 2023.

DAY ONE RECAP| 2023 AUSTRALIAN ALL SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS

WA’s formidable 4x100m relay teams have closed out a dominant first day for the state at the 2023  Chemist Warehouse Australian All Schools Championships. Leading the medal tally for WA were the state’s latest Australian Champions including Olivia Dodds, Josiah John, Kassia Brown, Lauren Kelly and Luca Prokscha.

DAY ONE PREVIEW | 2023 AUSTRALIAN ALL SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS

WA’s best school-aged athletes will stake their claim when they take on the rest of the country at the 2023 Chemist Warehouse Australian All Schools Championships this weekend. A formidable team of 203 athletes have been selected to represent the state over the three-day championships with the likes of Commonwealth Youth Games athletes Josiah John and Reese Prior, as well as World Athletics Under 20 hopefuls Olivia Dodds and Amelia Rowe to lead the team.

RAMSDEN READY TO ROCK ZATOPEK AS ATHLETE AND COACH

Matthew Ramsden will take on double duty this weekend when he launches his campaign for a berth at Paris 2024 at the On Track Nights ZÁTOPEK:10 in Melbourne. Lining up in the Men’s 3000m for a hit out with Australian U18 1500m Record holder Cameron Myers and fellow West Australian Jesse Hunt, Ramsden will also have a close eye on the U20 3000m as coach of Commonwealth Youth Games athlete Ky Hehir.

Western Australia has amassed a formidable team of 204 athletes who are set to take on the rest of the country next week at the 2023 Chemist Warehouse Australian All Schools Championships. Playing the role of host state for the first time since 2019, WA's best high school-aged athletes are set to light up the WA Athletics Stadium with three days of athletics action.

WA OFFICIALS TO LEAD THE WAY AT AUSTRALIAN ALL SCHOOLS

After years of dedication and hard work, the future stars of Brisbane 2032 will descend on Perth as part of the 2023 Chemist Warehouse Australian All School Championships this December. Leading the way will be the 38 WA Officials selected to administer the Championships, as well as the more than 70 inter-state officials bound for Perth.

NIGHT OF THE 5 IS BACK AND BIGGER!

The Night of the 5 is back, bigger and newly branded thanks to Healthway and their 'Go For 2&5' message. As of the 2023-24 Summer Season, the event will now be called 'Night of the Go For 2&5' with the event expanding to include 2,000m races, as well as the 5,000m distance. 

2024 COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS NOW OPEN

Registrations are now open for the 2024 Country Championships powered by Coles set for Geraldton. The 2024 Country Championships powered by Coles will be held from the 12 to 14 of January 2024 at Geraldton's La Fiamma Sporting Club.
