NEW POSITIONS ADDED! -  Set-Up and Pack-Down Assistance

We thank everyone who has already nominated for a volunteer position for the WA State Relay Championships. There are still some positions available, particular in the later time slots (4pm onwards) if you have not nominated already. We rely on additional assistance to help our volunteer officials in the smooth running of large-scale competitions such as the State Relay Championships. As a reminder, all parents are required to fulfill a volunteer role. Further information on roles are available on the volunteer nomination page (linked above).

If you are a regular chief official at your club/centre, we would greatly appreciate your assistance to support and learn from some of the best officials in the country. If you are a starter or regularly officiate field event sites, please contact to nominate your interest.

Each Centre/Club is responsible for the submission of their team nominations. Centre/Club team selection policies and procedures are the responsibility of the Centre/Club.

Team nominations are to be submitted through the following process:

  1. Complete the registration via this page, available here or by selecting 'Register' at the top of this page. Please select the entries per event/age group and you will receive an automated invoice once submitted, at a fee of $20 per team, which is payable prior to the Championships.
  2. The Team Details form (Excel format), available to download here, must be submitted to nominate the athlete details per team, naming up to five (5) athletes per event.
  3. Both the online entry form and the Team Details Form (Excel) must be submitted by 11:59pm on Sunday 3rd December 2023 to the Competition Manager, Van Pappas

If you need to replace an athlete in your team, all Clubs and Centres can complete the Athlete Substitution Form and submit to the TIC no less than one (1) hour before the scheduled event start time.
