This portal provides specific School Athletics Carnival dates and roles available, to seek nominations for those interested in officating at events held at the WA Athletics Stadium and Stadiums around Perth.
Majority of the carnivals run from 8.30am to 2.30pm and schools are asked to provide officials with lunch.
Following nominations, officials will be advised of appointments at a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the school carnival, however where possible, we will endeavour to provide 4-6 weeks notice of appointments.
The allocation of positions will take into consideration availability, interest, experience and accreditation. Appointments will be rotated to provide opportunities to a range of officials. Upon appointment, officials will receive start/finish time, lunch arrangements and briefing details. All appointed officials are required to hold a current Working with Children (WWC) card.
