BIBBULMUN FUND BACK ACE PROGRAM

Athletics West is excited to announce that the Bibbulmun Fund, through the Fremantle Foundation, has joined Athletics West as a new partner for the sport’s Aboriginal Community Engagement (ACE) Program. Through the partnership, the Bibbulmun Fund has injected $30,000 to help deliver the ACE Program in regional WA. The 2022 program will utilise delivery partners to conduct 10 to 12-week programs in Derby, Kununurra, and Laverton over the next six months.

Day One of the Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships saw WA’s Javelin stars claim gold with Tristian Wilson and Zara O’Dea leading the charge for the state. While WA’s Under 15 multi-eventers collected high ranking results to set themselves up for Day Two.

2022 LITTLE ATHLETICS STATE TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT

Athletics West would like to congratulate the 36 members of the WA Little Athletics State Team. They will be heading over to Melbourne to compete at Lakeside Stadium on the 23rd and 24th of April for the 2022 Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships.

WRAP UP | 2022 AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

It was a successful campaign for WA's top athletes at the 2022 Chemist Warehouse Australian Track and Field Championships in Sydney. Over nine days of Championship events, WA collected 80 medals, 27 National titles, three auto-selected Australian athletes bound for the 2022 World Athletics Championships and countless memories.
